"The room was not clean from last residents: there was a dirty towel under the shelf in the bathroom as well as a dirty kleenex and a tube of an unknown substance behind the nightstand next to one of the beds. Also, there was mold on the grout in the bathrrom and no towel racks..used towels had to be just thrown on the floor. In addition, the desk chair had a piece missing. "There was a malfunction with the fire alarm system that set off alarms and flashing lights throughout the hotel and also outside. I traveled with a small dog and she was terrified. Local fire department was unable to reset the alarm system, so it would continue to go off all night unless staff found an alarm company to fix the problem. I was not the only guest who left early. The front desk lady was outstanding. Cool under pressure. I was told that I would not be charged for the stay."

"I clearly stated in my reservation that there would be one adult and 4 children - the ages of whom I included. When booking the room, it was stated that it would sleep 5. "The reviews were a bit inflated. Not a 9 star hotel but it is above average. Aging of the property is showing that it is a 7-8 star quality at best."

"Was a very nice stay. However, I think housekeeping should check all rooms daily to see if something needs filled, replaced, or taken out. After several days we had to go hunt down someone for toilet paper. The trash was overflowing by day 3."
