"This place is not what it used to be. Room was ok but drains were very slow. Breakfast left much to be desired. After the first day, we decided to go out for breakfast."

"I go "out of my way" to stay at this wonderful, clean hotel in Albert Lea, MN. Whether traveling with family (and pets) or for business, I look forward to the friendly, attentive staff, the thoughtfully appointed and immaculately clean rooms, properly working sink, shower, lights, heating/cooling, TV, Wi-Fi, etc. This is simply a first-class operation."

"Rooms were large, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was normal hotel quality and opened early. Plenty of parking, even with a boat. The hotel was completely full do to a kids baseball tournament. The room we were assigned was next to pool so sleep was optional. The only down side."

"Pluses: Check in process was quick & easy. The breakfast was excellent. Conveniently located right off the interstate. Deltas: We stayed in a suite with a foldout couch. There was no bedding in the room to be found. My wife went down to the desk to get bedding, but they didn't give her a pillow. Another trip down when the bedding should have been in the room already. It's the only reason we booked this room & it became a headache for us."

"The check-in process was easy, and the employee who greeted us was very nice and helpful. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but there were a few things that could have been improved. When we went to bed that evening, we noticed quite a few hairs on both beds. We decided to just brush it off and get some rest, but the morning clerk was able to address the issue and take care of it. The shower also could have been cleaned better, and there was only one bar of soap provided for the shower area with...
