"Clean rooms with immediate and quick room service when requested. Staff are professional and respectful. Location is a quiet and serene atmosphere. The double pool, one for kids, and the other for adults is great for family. The beach view is just 👌. Numerous beach chairs with trampoline is great. Food and waiting service is also good. A perfect get-away from the hectic and busy lifestyle."

"To call this hotel a 4 star hotel is a disgrace to actual 4 star hotels; it is maybe 3 stars in its best days, more realistically 2 stars. The amenities themselves are dated, and there is no dependable electric. I had to have the maintenance team come to my room 3+ times to reset the electric for the AC, water heater, etc, before finally just giving up and surrendering to the heat. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere in Paje, there are much nicer properties to choose from. I’m convinced the other reviews on here are fake because they in no way reflect my experience there. "

"First issue was that we had to pay high city tax which was not mentioned anywhere. Second issue was that when we arrived, our All-In option did not cover first day lunch so we had to pay, the same applied on departure. Hotel room was OK, nothing exceptional. The garden and pool area were well maintained and simply beautiful. The beach was as expected, all depends on sea tide, but not swimmable at any time. Hotel is isolated, so car is a must. Staff was very friendly and helpful. All-In drinks and cocktails were good. Food buffet was often serving local dishes but tasty and good variety. Over all good and relaxing stay in this hotel."

"We eventually had a lovely time at Menai beach bungalows. There were a few issues but Mohammad and his staff were so lovely and helpful that it made the whole experience a lot of fun. The food was great and the staff in the restaurant, bar area we're delightful. Mohammed has just taken the place on and he said he has a plan to improve some of the facilities that need improvement. The sunsets are amazing. It's a really nice quiet place with lovely gardens. A real Zanzibarian treat that needs to be experienced.We went out snorkeling and had a great day and the Jozani rain forest is only a 30 minute drive away. Go and enjoy it and meet a lovely bunch of people."
