"Der Aufenthalt bei Patrick (und seinem Spitzenkoch!) im Merinja Guest House war genau, was wir nach einer Woche Reise brauchten. Die ruhige, grüne Umgebung und der einladende Garten mit Hängematten sind eine richtige Oase, um sich zu erholen. Am Abend hat uns der Koch mit lokalen, sehr schmackhaftem Essen verwöhnt. "Good place to stay at for a layover. Cheap, spacious rooms, and they provide breakfast. Place is hard to find and it would help if they had a sign thay said "El Sueno Homestay" outside the Main Gate instead of our driver wondering if this is the place, calling the lady, then her coming outside. The place is pn Muthiaga Lane (Its a Blue sign) and leads all the way to the end on the left. The locals helped us find it. "Meal service was below par. Not enough options, food kept running out. They only offer 1drink per person without refill, when requested for water, staff told us we have already received one juice. Did not offer water even at additional cost. Had to push staff to offer this (give us water). During meals, staff have to be requested for beverages multiple times before offering. Seems like they were understaffed. Lots of people who were doing multiple conferences, might need more staff to improve...

"Great location (google maps will take you to just below the property where you can’t access it from the road, so instead make the first right after passing AIC Mission church, driving uphill up Kijabe Road). Hezron and Berry were very attentive, checking in with me several times every day and changing sheets/towels when needed. Also helped me arrange drivers when needed for excursions and washed and dried my clothes beautifully once for free and once for a small fee. Good amenities. I...

"Excellent hotel with very nice glamping and food / staff was very responsive and nice. Food for breakfast and lunch was excellent / we unfortunately missed dinner. On lake Naivasha with boat tour facilities. Hells Gate Park is very close. Excellent access to all facilities. Special thanks to Geoffrey the Front Desk Manager who was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. We would love to have extended our visits will be back again."

"There was no pool, it said microwave and fridge, there was not, only 1 towel for two people and they said they would bring it and never did till 2nd night. Didn’t clean the room until after we complained on the 2nd night."

"Remove the word “luxury” in the name of the hotel or replace it by “Outdated” then it’s clear about the state. Also replace “pool” with “Pond” it describes it better the water was green and dirty Flowers/bushes on balconies was all dead why not remove them"
