"Okay the good, the bad and the ugly...it is an older hotel and that is okay with me...it is next to the highway but we couldn't hear traffic in our room on the 17th floor...the lobby is nice but like every thing it needs an investment in updating it...the room we booked was huge...Jr suite with a living room and bar...the bed was big and the mattress very comfortable...the bathroom is very dated with an odd square tub/ shower combo...the toilet is very very low so if you are handicapped definitely do not choose a regular room...I am in the hospital so my caregived and dog are happy with the hotel...it is close to all the hospitals including MD ANDERSON...The front desk clerk was very helpful today when I needed to extend the reservation without paying the dog fee a second time ($75.00 for length of stay). If this is your honeymoon stay elsewhere. If you are here for medical reasons this hotel checks all the boxes ( my insurance covers $125.00 per night so I have minimal out-of-pocket costs )."

"Pool was green, breakfast was eggs sausage white bread toast, no fruit, no yogurt. Cereal was Cheerios or fruit loops. That is all. This is a concert only hotel. A place to crash. Sad, as it is right across from NRG stadium. One of the rooms stank. We changed rooms once because of the loud air conditioner."

"This property asked for my debit card stating it was just for incidentals at time of checking in. The next day they charged my card for the price of the room even though it was already paid for through Orbitz. They denied the charge even though it clearly states on my account I was charged by Holiday Inn. I’m now, 2 months later, still fighting/disputing the charge through my bank! Avoid this property unless you like having unexpected unauthorized charges!"
