"Bathroom was a bit rough. Tub wouldn't drain, the drain cover was off, and the shower curtain was separating from the wall. The beds were comfortable enough and everything clean. The French bakery attached to the hotel was amazing. Within walking distance of the field museum, planetarium, and aquarium. Good enough for a quick trip to the city. "

Old carpet, bed was sinking down in the middle, scuffs, dings and scratches on virtually ever surface, poor workmanship everywhere, exposed piping and wiring in the hallways, etc."

"We loved our stay here! Super convenient location to everything in downtown and Lake Michigan. The hotel was clean and well stocked and the high ceilings made the room feel much bigger. The bar downstairs was great and we were given free drink tickets each night."
