"The room was very clean and the parking was perfect...right outside our room. The breakfast room was lovely and the breakfast was delicious. The towels were very plush. The only reason we did not give 5 stars was there was no luggage rack and the shower pressure was a bit hit or miss."

Conveniently located to town center, shopping, and bus stop. Restaurant on site was excellent as well. Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. "

"Beautiful hotel with a great atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable. A little on the small side, but plenty big enough for two people. Restaurant was also nice and had good food. A little higher priced, but great portions. The included breakfast was also very good. "

"Sadly our bed (two singles combined) was in need of replacement as it was too soft and springy (we could feel the springs and the beds dipped in the middle. The toilet cistern dripped all night. There was nowhere to hang our bathroom towels - it needed a hook or two in the bathroom for this. I did report these issues calmly to the manager in the morning and she replied that no one else had reported these issues before! The breakfast was nice but we were surprised to only be given half a muffin with one egg - normally eggs Benedict comes with two muffin halves and two eggs. It was tasty though. The hotel was spotless and I complimented one of the housemaids when I saw her in the morning and she was grateful for the positive comment. Location is good, short walk to the centre of Boughton on the Water. I don’t normally complain when I stay anywhere but I was disappointed overall, which was a surprise to me as I had read great reviews."
