"Room needs a deep clean. Dirty water drip marks on door to bathroom and also some dried brown streeks. Wardrobe had dead inserts on the shelf and base. Towel was worn around the edges, wearing thin and small holes not what I expect from a hotel. No housekeeping unless you paid extra. So had to use the same towel of 5 days. "Dirty, tired and not fit for purpose. ‘Deluxe family room’ windows without locks and open when arrived - huge falls risk. One broken window taped up. Dirty walls, dirty shower and bathroom, toe nail clippings on bedroom floor. Towels on every bed but 2 with stains. Floors uneven and creak. No chain on door. "This is a shared bathroom with at least 6 other rooms which is unsuitable if you are travelling with an elderly parent. There is also No Parking despite this being advertised. The property did not reply to me about address and parking until the day AFTER my stay. Prooery did not reply to Expedia when we needed urgent support. We had to find our own alternative accommodation and still no resolution or contact from the property!!"

"Registration was cursory. Certainly not rude, just “fill in your details and here’s your key.” No offer of assistance for two seniors to carry suitcases up narrow stairs. No further information offered. Room was adequate. Shower is traditional British style - in a very high narrow tub, very dangerous for seniors in my opinion. Notice in room that no outside food allowed, and may result in an additional charge. Overall good value for money, but more of a two star than a three star hotel. "
