The restaurant had a good choice and the chef clearly takes pride in his food- great quality and lots of choice. The breakfast included traditional ootions but also good quality food. We loved the location and would highly recommend the Queens for an overnight or longer stay. We also brought out dog and we were all made to feel very welcome. "

"We had a really nice stay. Food very good. Staff very friendly. The only thing psrking st ti.es was very busy with people parking for thr gym. My hubby has poor mobility and hotel guests using didable bays. We had to park right over the other side of the car park. Other than that a lovely stay"

"We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"

"Room clean and comfortable, staff great. We've been a few times when it was The Milton Hilltop. Not much has changed. It's not a posh hotel but for a night or two it's absolutely fine. Bit worn in places but rooms, bathrooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast food is freshly cooked and very nice. Not many staff but very efficient and friendly.
