"The hostel entrance is back from the road, but Google Maps is precise. Easy check-in information which is perfect as we landed very late in the evening. Hostel and room was fresh, modern clean and tidy. Breakfast was laid out for us in the morning with fresh coffee, meats, croissants, yoghurt and a welcoming smile. A great place to stay "

"Modern, newer, central hotel in a pedestrian only street. So be aware you will have to walk a short distance with your luggage. We parked in a small public lot a 5 minute walk up a hill (parking is free on weekends). Beds are comfortable. I booked a standard room which is not that big but fine for a short stay. Stayed one night at the beginning of our trip to Sao Miguel and then 2 nights at the end. Had a terrace the first time and no terrace the second time. Preferred having the terrace room...

"The hotel is a lovely, well kept property. There is parking and it’s 1.5km to the city Centre. The staff are willing to assist at anytime, and are always pleasant. Our room was very comfortable and was spacious. Roberto was a great host."

"Excellent location. Wonderful breakfasts which are included. Staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. Just be aware if guests have mobility issues there is no elevator and the floors where rooms are - are reached with a lot of stairs. But staff will assist with luggage handling. Really enjoyed our stay here. Close to restaurants and quick walk to main square. Would stay here again. "

"I enjoyed having a morning breakfast, it was simple but delicious and allowed me to start my day easily. I requested an early check in which they accommodated and though they could not accommodate a late check out i was allowed to leave my bag so i could explore the city gardens a bit before I headed to the airport. Great place to stay in a quiet neighbourhood close to the old city centre."
