"This is a wonderful example of historic English buildings that have been updated for modern stays without losing their architectural quirks and historical oddities. Not ideal for people with limited mobility, but we enjoyed ducking under low lintels and walking over uneven floors, some of which have been around for several centuries. "The side entry pod was at the bottom of a quiet row. It was surprisingly well appointed with one of the best showers I’ve had when staying away for a long time and a comfy bed. The site itself had a fab shop with everything you could need. Will look to stay again when I’m in the area."

"Staff were very helpful even found me an iron as we were going to a family wedding. The rooms were clean and tidy, and comfy bed. They thought of everything yoghurts, butter, bread milk, juice, cereal if you require an early start. Otherwise a beautifully cooked English breakfast by Duncan all fresh produce and tea or coffee. Would deffo stay there again👍"

"The Andel Lodge was a gem of a find! My sister and I stayed there on Tuesday 19th May and we were so impressed with everything! The decor was lovely, everywhere was spotlessly clean and our twin room was so cute! The staff were great, especially Theresa who really looked after us well, along with our aunt, uncle and cousin who were also staying there as we had a family funeral to go to. "Excellent place and I can't wait to go back, it was a friendly welcome and its a lovely as described place in a very quiet location. Kitchen is well stocked and stuff is easy to use, sofa and beds were comfy and the place was warm well maintained. "

The Church next to the venue is well worth a visit, and there is a small relatively well stocked shop just a two minute walk away. Parking was very easy with plenty of space to choose from.
