"The property needs upkeep in the type of room I stayed. The mattress is ultra hard, I woke up with a backache my first night. Also mattress need to be checked for bed bugs. A bad sewage smell was coming out of the bathroom pipes & I had to keep the bathroom glass door closed. Also, hotel could probably provide a bug repellent air freshener, because bugs come inside whenever the door is opened. "The resort and rooms were clean, well-maintained, and very peaceful. The private beach added to the relaxing experience, making it a great place to unwind away from the crowd. However, the resort is around 30 minutes away from the main pier and market area, and each round trip can cost approximately 1800 THB. "The best thing about our stay was seeing the spectacled langurs, from outside our room and also a monitor lizard in the pond, monkeys in the trees and hornbills. It was a pity that the staff used catapults to scare the monkeys and langurs away."
