"This was the accommodation we looked most forward to on our Japan trip, and it did not disappoint. It was very beautiful and cozy. Well renovated old traditional house. Spacious living room downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. There is all you need to cook and wash. We ordered half pension, which is highly recommended. Great local food. The breakfast you cook yourself after a easy to follow instruction. I would love to come back for more than pone night. "

"A very good hotel just across the road from the Imperial Palace (which unfortunately although in nice, publicly accessible gardens, is completely screened off from the public by the perimeter walls unless it's "open") and is yards from a subway station. We were given a room upgrade (very nice) and were really impressed. Lovely staff. Happy to recommend."
