"We had a lovely stay at the Riu, everything was clean and well kept, the food was great and the staff were really friendly. However the reception and shop staff were less friendly almost to the point of being funny! But would fully recommend."

"Très bel hôtel, très propre à tous les niveaux! Personnel très accueillant et serviable, toujours un bonjour et un sourire !! Chaises de plages ou à la piscine, il y en a partout ! pas besoin de réserver avec votre serviette, il y a toujours des chaises de disponible et surtout à la plage. Nourriture bonne et répétitive même dans les différents resto. mais il y a du choix tout de même. Chambre confortable avec belle vue sur la piscine et belle salle de bain. Rien à redire, tout était parfait."

"Great location. Good value. Good for families. Room would benefit from a refresh. Breakfast gets busy and items were only slowly replenished. So get up early. Eggs cooked in front of you to order but this seems very inefficient and long queues start to form. They seemed happy let you take coffees and juice outside to the bar/pool area after breakfast. No tea/coffee or bottled water. Saw security challenging people bringing items in from outside. On the whole, a fair offering and service."

"The hotel staff went above and beyond when dealing with any queries, they where friendly and easy to speak with. Upon arrivals we where given tea and biscuits. We unfortunately had ants in our room being the bottom floor I am assuming this is the reason. It was quickly rectified by the staff. But I think the room needed a more through expection in the future. Some of the room looked a little tired. But I saw staff making improvements to certain areas. The hotel is one of the furthest to the marina. Breakfast was good but nothing spectacular. But the food served at the pool was very tasty and better then expected. They provided a heated small pool for the kids which was a very good facility. The beach front wasn’t far from the hotel either."

"New Facility 3 months old. Staff went out of their way to support any and every request. A beautiful hotel w 3 pools, wide open spaces and many many each chairs and beds to relax in. Next to other high end hotels, this Marriott surpasses its neighbours with nicer furnishings and updated amenities. Steps from the beach and showers at the beach side entrance, from ocean to pool or room is effortless. The rooms are generous and comfortable with lovely linens. And the breakfast was excellent, the food w varied with local cuisine as well as more standard options. I can’t wait to return, this hotel and the Taghzoute are the drawing cards for my return."

"Nice food daily changed. Many swimming pools. Amazing staff. Just a little quieter off peak. Booked a room with private pool - but turned out it was a sharing pool and NOT a pool. It was shallow 30cm. So that’s wrongly advertised and beware. When checking out the reception staff accused us of stealing towel cards which was ridiculous and that ruined our experience right at the end. Apart from that it was a great trip"
