"Ockenden manor was beautiful and staff very accommodating and friendly. We were also upgraded at check in which was a nice surprise. The room was beautifully designed, and bathroom and bedding were clean, although we did find two pieces of rubbish left behind by a previous guest in the room. Hotel guests can access the spa at no additional cost from 2pm on day of check in to 2pm on day of check out and the spa facilities were beautiful. Good vegan and veggie options at breakfast. "Couldn’t fault the people. The bathroom will need a refurb soon. The only hotel where I have stayed recently to find the soap dispenser doesn’t fall apart when depressed!"

"There actually was not a breakfast. However, the hotel includes a charming pub where we enjoyed an excellent pub lunch. As a whole we very much enjoyed the White Horse Inn. Our room seemed a little small and we shared a bathroom. We did find a restaurant within a short walking distance where we enjoyed breakfast. "

"Absolute treasure. Went for a retreat to get some work done. It could not have been more perfect. Staff super respectful and approachable. Room was spacious, clean and sound proof. Breakfast was excellent....loved the banana and peanut smoothie. what a combo. And after a hard day's work, it was relaxing in the sauna/steam room& jaccuzzi. Planning on bringing a team of people for group bonding sessions.....with the vast green lands and lots of conference rooms and break out open...

"I was looking for a convenient place to stay near Brighton, and this turned out to be an excellent choice. Communication was great throughout, with quick and helpful responses to any questions I had. The bed was very comfortable, making for a good night’s sleep, and the free on-street parking nearby was a real bonus. Overall, a very pleasant and hassle-free stay."

"My husband and I stayed on a Saturday night in November as a birthday treat. We stayed in the loft suite. This room is clean, cosy beautifully decorated. The bathroom is amazing ! We absolutely loved the jetted bathtub. It really was a selling point for us. Breakfast was very nice. Lovely fresh eggs. We enjoyed having our own private dining toom too. Paul was very nice and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you ."

"The bed was really uncomfortable, which was a surprise for a PI, as they pride themselves on the bed comfort. The bar was open late which was great. The parking is small, only 17 spots and you pay for this daily. "
