The hosts Terri, SteveO and Teresa were fantastic. The property is set in a quiet country location with pool, vegetation and birds. Our room was luxurious incorporating lounge, balcony overlooking the treetops, bed and bathroom with shower and spa bath. We enjoyed chats with the hosts at happy hour and ate breakfast and dinner at the property, the meals were delicious.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel completely at home. Our room was spotlessly clean and exceptionally comfortable with lots of little extra touches that made our stay special. The location was beautiful and the surroundings were stunning and so peaceful. Breakfast was amazing as it was made from fresh ingredients and prepared just before serving. This was a great start to each day and happy hour was another highlight. This B&B is a gem and we would highly recommend it!

What a wonderful place to stay! Karin and Paul are such amazing hosts! They helped organise private massages for my partner and I, pickup/drop off to our chosen restaurant in the evening, and their home made breakfast the next morning was just divine! Would highly recommend staying at The Xountry House at Hunchy.

A beautiful place to unwind and relax in 5 Star Accommodation. We booked the Rainforest Suite with the Premium Luxury package and thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay (we wish we could have stayed longer). Paul and Karin greet you on arrival and show you through the main house and suite to get you settled in. The suite is wonderfully appointed with all the modern and stylish features you like to see in accommodation of this quality. It's only minutes away from Montville and only a short drive to Maleny or the Sunshine Coast. We ordered dinner to have in our room and it was just delicious. Karin is an excellent cook and the meal was restaurant quality. The portions are generous and the ingredients are sourced fresh locally. The luxury package also includes a 3 course breakfast for 2. As with dinner, it was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Paul's coffee is awesome! Paul and Karin are so welcoming and gracious. It was an absolute pleasure to stay and we will be back for a longer stay next time. If you are looking for a getaway, this is the place to stay!

Everything was excellent from start to finish. Beautiful room with separate lounge/TV Area, heaps of space and a tranquil setting. Great communication from the hosts throughout - nothing was too much trouble. It is a few kilometres from Montville so a great place to base yourself from when exploring the hinterland.

Beautiful and peaceful home in the hinterlands.

You can always tell when someone puts love and pride into their home and that’s exactly what you will find with Paul and Karin’s beautiful home. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted graciously by our hosts and brought to our suite. The suite was more spacious than expected and tastefully decorated and sparkling clean! I considered myself a clean freak, and this place was beyond my expectations. We had breakfast and dinner at the home and Karin’s cooking is amazing and the food was sumptuous. It was all the small little touches that made everything just that little more special. Thank you Paul and Karin for the beautiful stay. We will definitely be back again.

A wonderful facade greets you and welcomes you ,the owners are there to make you feel relaxed and ready to enjoy all the wonderful facets of the property, a new twist at every place you turn to. The views stretching over the leafy trees into the distant sea, with the weather constantly changing to paint a new picture for you , gives you a feeling a peace and relaxation. The brilliant and really caring service from our hosts was just the icing on the cake!!

The owners have taken a lot of care to ensure a perfect stay. Beaitiful setting, great location. We even had a courtesy car pick us up for dinner. Strongly recommend staying here, and dinner at Misty Rocket.
