"Great stay and good base for exploring."

"I stayed here about a year ago when moving my son into his college dorm room. Came back about 9 months later and the place is falling apart. Rooms were dirty, common areas filthy, the crowd was questionable - will definitely be looking for a new place to stay when we visit Alpine. Very disappointing. "

"The “restaurant” had 3 food offerings and one had run out. 2 of the 3 nights, they had no chef. The restaurant staff acted like we were in the wrong for not liking the lack of choices and when we told them there was a full menu online, they were rude and said it was old like that was our fault. Just be polite about it. Disappointing"

"We stayed in this same motel unit 20 years ago, it was poor then, and has not changed. You have to use two hands to get in the room, which is a real pain. Heater/cooler was poor, no staff except 3-5, this place is only a step or two over camping."

"Honestly better than I expected. It’s an OYO. The price is decent for what we got. The gentleman that check us in was courteous and helpful. The room was very dated and in poor shape but it was clean and accommodated 3 grown men comfortably. Everything worked in the room a/c was very loud but it blew cold air. The bathroom was clean. We ended up booking the room again the next night and it had been well cleaned. I’m satisfied with my stay"

"About a 2 hour drive from the national park. Cute town with excellent breakfast place (Scoops) and excellent grocery store nearby. Everyone in town was super friendly and welcoming."

"Best: we were upgraded to a nice place with good value. It was peaceful and beautiful and quiet. Worst: very hard to find unit. Staff did not ick up phone. No oven, hence the upgrade. No espresso. 10 big spiders under sink. Dirty floors."
