"The motel is older and could maybe use a bit of paint but inside the room was renovated and very clean with good AC, microwave fridge and tv. The owner and staff were very helpful and nice. Check in and out very easy. A very short drive to downtown and a short walk to the mall and other stores and restaurants. Haven't stayed in a motel for years and forgot how nice it is to have windows that open front and back and in the bathroom. Paid a fortune for a room and parking on previous visits to...

"The property is impeccably clean, tidy and maintained. Everything is also very pretty. The upstairs bathroom is shared between the two rooms and has everything you need. Sue and Al are great hosts. Breakfast was delicious. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the Patterson theater and 5 minutes more to the festival theater. The walk is very pleasant through the neighborhood and along the river. We would certainly stay there again and can highly recommend it. "

"Loved the room as it was spacious, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Had dinner on the patio - great wine selection and the food was delicious. Staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. I would highly recommend having breakfast, lunch or dinner there as well as an overnight stay. Parking is close and it is right down the street from the Avon Theatre. "
