"It is convenient to park your car at this inn. Highland Gate is not the inn but the the restaurant. The Highland Gate restaurant and Marton's Inn are in two separate buildings. The inn's outside apearance and inside conditions are quite mediocre: carpet in the hallway looks dirty at every entrance to the room; there is no rack or shelve for suitcases though the room size is decent; the bathroom has a peculiar smell (not stinky but unpleasant to me), and the double bed (made of two single beds)...

"Great hotel / pub in Inverary. We stayed here for a couple of nights on our way to Islay, and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and were great in dealing with my wife’s Coeliac Disease dietary needs (couple of the staff are Coeliacs but all staff were knowledgeable). We also had our Black Labrador with us and again he was welcomed and accommodated without issue. It’s rare to find places that cater for both Coeliacs and Dogs :-) Our room was large and well...

"This is a little gem! Convenient to all of our excursions . The bed was heaven! Great pillows! A fan was provided. Bathrooms were clean with good smelling products. I like that our room had a separate toilet room from shower room. There were plenty of places to store luggage, clothes, etc. They provide earplugs in case it gets too loud downstairs, but we didn’t really need them.
