"I've been staying here a couple of weeks now for work/business, the rooms are spotless, great facilities; kettle, fridge, microwave, shower gel, hand soap, washing up liquid, glasses, cups, cutlery. WiFi, TV. Co op and pub restaurant within 50m, various takeaways within 150m. I would highly recommend staying at this property and I will be continuing to book it as required throughout April '26 Brian Green EOD Engineer "

"Parking immediately by the hotel. Make sure you register your car reg daily. Shops and restaurants on the same street, sea front less than 5 minutes drive, possibly walkable. Lovely village x x"

"A great find. Staff are very friendly and professional at the same time. Food is excellent both lunchtime and dinner. Our room was very good and the amenities are very good. Spa was excellent value and friendly so no complaints at all."

"The Hotel/Pub is very clean and has a reasonably extensive food and drinks menu. My room (9) was a little small but as a single occupant, it was very adequate. It had a kettle and all the condiments, including some biscuits. A water jug was also supplied. The staff were very attentive and professional. A quick shout to Amelia who went out of her way to provide perfect customer satisfaction. I have stayed before and will definitely stay again."

"Breakfast selection was standard for a HI express. Unfortunately in this hotels case, all of the bread, and especially the bread rolls were too stale to have eaten. Eating in the restaurant in the evening was a very slow process. Over 45 minutes to receive any food. Some people waited over an hour. Room was not particularly clean, debris on the carpet, and a general feeling of rushed housekeeping. Found a child’s teddy bear under the bed, and the staff couldn’t have seemed less bothered....

"Great treehouse with buggy. Up early to go around the park with the buggy. Loved the clubhouse bar, toasting marshmallows over the fire. We would return, loved the animals, grounds & restaurants too! "

"Breakfast was very plentiful and tasty and the two for one happy he with cheese and biscuits was a pleasant surprise. Wasn’t aware we needed to pay £10 for parking however. Room very spacious but was feeezing. No hearing has been put on before our arrival and we had to sit in our coats for ages before it warmed up. Very good location for visiting town on foot "

"The lady that met us open check in was very friendly & welcoming . She showed us to our room and said anything we need to just ask . Comfortable room everything you need my only one criticism could do with a mini fridge to put water etc in . Shower was great . Very nice stay would definitely come again "

"I had to stay for a night and it says free parking. This was three weeks ago and I just had a 120 pound parking fine come to me for parking in their carpark. Its a bad place. Dirty, cold and filled with scallywags doing drugs."

"A beautiful hotel with an amazing room. I stayed in the Junior Master Suite and me and the wife were blown away. The bathtub is a great addition and the room is quite big with a sofa and 4-poster bed. It was honestly an amazing stay and we will definitely come back for another staycation."
