"Loved this hotel! Staff were very friendly, location was perfectly in the middle of the locations we were going to. Bus stops right in front of the restaurant attached to the hotel, and this same bus goes straight to the train station so public transportation is convenient. Despite not adding the breakfast option, coffee, tea, water, and umbrellas were available to all guests. Thank you for an awesome stay!"

"We booked a family room for four for one night and had a very pleasant stay. Room and toilet was very clean & most importantly the view from our room was the main attraction! Check in was easy as well, parking was free, breakfast was yummy and homey. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with no complaints! It's also a good mid point for Interlaken and Grindewald "

"The location of this hotel is amazing! The lake view from our balcony was beautiful. We enjoyed spending quiet time on the hotel terrace overlooking the lake. Absolutely tranquil. Breakfast was delicious. Our bed was comfy. The staff was super friendly. I highly recommend!!!"

"The best way to describe this hotel is: straight out of a fairytale! The view from literally anywhere you look are absolutely spectacular. The hotel is 150 years old but they have done an outstanding job at conserving it authentic and classic look but with some modern and classic touches for comfort. You feel like you are transported in a time-capsule machine to a classic, glamorous and beautiful place. Certainly an experience that I would highly recommend "

"We visited at the end of April when this hotel was still under construction. It was a minor inconvenience as we paid for a “garden view” when the view was a complete construction zone. They did upgrade our room size because of this. That being said, the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We stayed 2 nights and ate at the restaurant both nights. Their buffet breakfast is also amazing. Seeing that the hotel is no longer under construction, I would definitely stay here...

"Hidden gem! It’s a standard 4 star hotel but the view of the Eiger & Jungfrau mountains is the best! I stayed at room number 113 (level 3) and 021(level 2) both have an amazing view of the mountains. But of course the higher the better. Spacious room and very practical. They recently refurbished almost 80% of the rooms so the pictures in hotels.com portal is the old one. The one I uploaded is their room after refurbishment. Worth every penny I spent! "It is a very interesting and unforgettable experience staying in this hotel. The place is quiet and the view from our room and during our breakfast is spectacular. The front desk people are very nice. But there is one thing that you have to look when you book this hotel. It says that 20 minutes walk from the train station.
