My husband and I found the room nice with a beautiful first floor view of the grounds but a little cramped and maybe needing a little refresh. We were told it was an upgrade due to the view, however the room was next to the housekeeping closet which meant it was quite loud early in the morning. The breakfast each morning was lovely. "Pros: A true Isle of Skye experience… right on the water, beautiful view, lots of sheep around. It felt safe, secluded and was very quiet. The staff were so kind. Cons: It’s a very basic accommodation and the buildings/rooms show wear and tear, The drive in is 2 miles of one lane with not many passing areas."

First, beware when booking that the individual cabins (hides) are located up gravel paths from the main reception, bar, and dining room.
