"This property is a former hunting lodge and has some fabulous character and charm with some updates that enhanced the property, including a beautiful restaurant offering locally sourced dishes. We tried the salmon, cullen skink, venison and beef, all of which were top notch. Wendy was our server and she went above and beyond to take care of us. It’s summer, our room was quite warm but I removed the doona from the cover and left the window open. Being above a pub on a Saturday night I thought it would be noisy but we didn’t have any issue. Checking in was very easy, the property was lovely and clean, the breakfast was exceptional and lovingly cooked in front of us by Jim and Paulline who were very kind and welcoming. "A lovely little cottage on Uig Bay owned by the hoteliers of the Uig Hotel. A wonderful breakfast was included at the hotel a 10-15 minute walk away. Our room had an ensuite and a beautiful view of the bay. Parking was easily accessible. Information on dining, historic places, hikes, pubs, etc. was readily available from the hotel staff. Service & staff were exceptional. If there was ever a place to get lost & press the reset button, the Isle of Skye was it for us! Enchanting."
