When we arrived the reception staff were very friendly and gave us a brief tour, when our room was ready we were again escorted there by a member of reception. "A good place to stay in Funchal away from the centre. The pool is very nice & the buffet breakfast has a lot of options. The beds are hard but this seems typical of Madeira. Our room was a bit untidy but again we had experienced this elsewhere too. The staff don’t really share a lot of information for example you can’t open your balcony door as it shuts off the air-conditioning or you need your key to actually exit the garage on checkout or you’re trapped in the garage.
