Great sized space for 2 to 3 people. Absolutely gorgeous view and each bedroom has its own slider to just walk out on. Plenty of air conditioning to escape the humidity. The view comes at a cost though.. the hill is very steep and taxis are expensive so I suggest renting a car. The restaurants at the bottom of the hill are fantastic for all types of meals. Grocery shop at Moe's down the hill to grill out on the deck. The ferry to St. John is right across from you and to see the beautiful beaches and sea turtles at Maho. The property manger was always accessible and very accommodating! We are definitely staying at Vista Marina again. Everyone on the island was so friendly, also!

This property has a stunning view of Red Hook and Vessup Bay, St John and other islands. The beds were comfortable; the kitchen has some dishes and cookware and a cooler that was very handy to take to the beach. You need a car with four wheel drive to get up the road to the property (road is steep and narrow). Close to the car ferry, and grocery stores, which is very convenient. We had a great time.

We loved the access to the ferry and St. John's national park beaches. The access to grocery and restaurants was great. The hill is steep and a workout; but, the views at the condo are well worth it. Also, taxis are plentiful near the ferry dock. Delano, with the property management company, was fantastic and really helpful.

The view is amazing, we loved relaxing on the deck having our morning coffee or evening nightcap and just watching the harbor. Don't let the steep hill concern you, it’s well worth the privacy and ideal proximity to Red Hook. The pool is another added bonus. We highly recommend this property!

The property has a great view of Red Hook Bay. Easy to get to St. John via boat ferry. The inside of the property is beautiful but we lost power and water for few hours. The beds are hard, I personally like softer bed.

Pros: beautiful apartment with a spectacular view of the ocean and harbor. Comfortable beds and furniture and a balcony that was like a gateway to heaven. The host was friendly and happy to help. Had many unexpected extras like beach towels, sunscreen and an XBox. Cons: getting to the apartment was like climbing a very crumbly road to the top of Mt. Everest. It was not easy to get to and the cab drivers took full advantage of the fact that the climb up was difficult on foot and charged an arm and a leg just to take you up the hill. We tried it by foot…once. Do not recommend. Next, there is a set of stairs that leads down to the apartment door. The last step is hanging on by its fingernails. It felt sturdy, but it absolutely did not look sturdy. The air conditioning was awesome, but we had to spend a night without it in one of the bedrooms. Luckily it was working in the main room and the other bedroom. It was fixed the next day but I feel like it was something that should have been fixed before we got there. One final complaint is that when the power went out (it is an island after all) there wasn’t any working water. Not having access to water in a tropical climate is not good. There were several properties nearby that had generators. At the very least having a small one so access to water isn’t affected would be good.

The beds in both rooms were great. We enjoy a firmer bed so they were just perfect. Plenty of restaurants and grocery store at the bottom of the hill and you can take a short taxi to additional options. The owners and management team were very thoughtful with the additional amenities within the unit!! We cooked breakfast and two dinners and had all the utensils. The coffee options were amazing!!

We had a great time. One thing to alert you to, there were lots of wasp nests and two of us were stung twice!! We bought wasp spray and left them for you. Thanks again for the really nice villa!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Villa Marina Vista for three nights on short notice, and enjoyed our stay. There were several pros: Xaverie the concierge was very helpful, made sure we had good directions to the property, gave us an early check-in, and was generally available to us. The location of the property couldn't be beat - with a nice view and within walking distance of Red Hook (good restaurants, bars, and ferry to St. John). The amenities in the property were extensive: three large flat screen tvs, direct tv, Alexa, xbox, bbq, washer/dryer, iron, vacuum, and a book they put together rivaling any travel guide. On the downside, the pool was full of leaves when we arrived on Thursday. That had been cleaned up by Friday evening. But the pool needs a refurb. The ladder was badly broken, and paint chipped off bottom of the pool in several places. The apartment shows signs of wear: one closet missing hinge, comes off track upon opening, paint chipped; one safe was out (no batteries); and blinds are in bad shape. We also had trouble with spotty internet service. Couldn't stream online or use the Alexa without frequent interruptions, and my laptop (vpn'ing into work) kept locking up requiring reboots. Altogether, I think this is a good value for two couples or a family. I would stay here again with four or more people to defray the cost.

Overall this was an excellent stay. The view was beyond perfect. Felt pretty close to home away from home. Only downsides are: 1.Parking- you have to just park along the driveway and hope that the other villas didn’t take up all the space. 2. Showering- water is either extremely HOT or freezing Cold. 3. Trash- You have to drive your trash to a dump site, not too far about a 3 min drive or so. Like I said though overall it was an amazing stay. Would definitely stay again if we every make it back to St.Thomas!
