This was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon! We did not engage in another of the excursion activities but the on-properties such as the pool, beach and restaurants were beautiful and well maintained! There were various shows and entertainment performances that we really enjoyed. Staff was wonderful and so kind, would return again!

Sandals Grande Antigua truly outdid themselves to make us feel like cherished guests. Charmantha works at the pizza place. After our first visit, she greeted us by name and would talk with us about Antigua and the culture. When my husband lost his wedding ring in the ocean (the only bad part of our trip and not Sandals’ fault), Deshawn at the Mediterranean club desk went above and beyond to try to find it. He even brought in someone with a metal detector to search for it! Keon, the Club Concierge, made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We attended the cocktail hour and had a blast with some good food, funny games and lots of laughter! Too many names to remember, but the staff overall (housekeeping, snorkeling staff, bartenders, activities staff and restaurant staff) was impressive. They want their guests to have an incredible experience and they work hard to make it happen! We look forward to returning to Sandals Grande Antigua!

The staff was great, the food was delicious and the room was perfect! The weather was great and the beach was clean and relaxing. Snorkeling and paddle boarding was very fun along with the daily activities including pool volleyball!

Beautiful beach and resort! Definitely one of the prettiest Sandals beaches we’ve been to. The spa was great. Really only downfalls were 1) locals on the beach that offer to sell you stuff multiple times per day and 2) three of the dinner restaurants require reservations and you have to make them way in advance. Not much the resort can do about the locals, as the beaches in Antigua are public.

The beach is beautiful with clear water. The evening restaurant provide quality food. The cocktails are terrible lacking flavor and the alcohol doesn’t taste like top shelf even though the bottle says otherwise.

The Beach outside the hotel is brilliant. With beachfront restaurants providing sunset views every night, it's hard to beat. Staff are friendly, the free mini-bar in the room is quite extensive (full sized liquor bottles), and the drink choice at the pool bars is great. It's a great hotel. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I stayed at Sandals Grande Antigua for our honeymoon and had an amazing experience. We stayed on the Mediterranean side of the resort. While the rooms could use a little updating, the view from our balcony was absolutely beautiful and the overall resort layout was perfect. The food was very good, the drinks were great, and there was plenty of beachfront space, so finding loungers with an umbrella was never an issue. The beach itself was incredible — the water was some of the bluest I’ve ever seen. The entire resort was very well maintained and the staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful honeymoon and would definitely recommend this resort to others.
