Quick Layover

I needed a place to stay quickly for my one night layover and Anne was so flexible and understanding. The place was clean and peaceful. She organized transportation, dinner, and breakfast. I recommend this place if you need a quiet area that is off the main road but fairly close to the airport.

Amazing view from up the hill

Beautiful apartment up the hill amazing view of the island especially at night nice clean quiet apartment the owner is very helpful and so nice I would definitely recommend the house keeper was nice helpful and she was beautiful too

Lovely base for your trip

Date Palms is lovely if you're happy in an apartment type spot. I was picked up from airport for $10 by the hotel owner's brother Orville, who could not have been more helpful during my stay - showing me around the local neighbourhood, explaining where town was, recommending places to go (by cab OR public bus, which saved me a lot of money!) The apartments are at the top of a hill and seem remote, but there is a supermarket a 5-10 minute walk back down the hill. The apartment itself is lovely, with a huge kitchen with a big fridge and freezer and options for cooking if you like. It offers a very homely feel, so is a good place to retire too at end of the day. The price is very reasonable and you could even walk in to St Johns in 30, 40 minutes. All in all, very happy with the comfort and value for money Dates provided - thanks Orville and company!

Excellent central location if you've rented a car.
