"Its all around a great experience"

"We checked in and headed to our room which was difficult to find as it was wedged between the stair well and elevators. We headed back to the front desk and requested a different room in a less busy spot and were immediately given a different room no problem, staff very pleasant. Room was very clean and nicely appointed only complaint was low water pressure in the shower but the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The 5:30 kick back / happy hour is a very nice perk however three nights out of five was pulled pork sliders, needs a little more variety there. The included breakfasts were very good with a decent variety. It could get very busy and chaotic but the meals were in the main hotel area so there was plenty of space and everything flowed very well, very little waiting to grab your meal. The breakfast and kick back staff were TOP NOTCH! So friendly and always a smile and a chat, what a hard working crew! Grabbed a burger at Carmines, the in house restaurant one night, it was excellent and staff there also very friendly. Hotel is literally steps from the Gateway Arch- a ride to the top is a must do! Great hotel to stay at in St Louis."

"It is a unique hotel. The first room we were put in was not very clean. The couch was dirty, sheets had visible dirt, the comforter was wet, the mattress protector had a lot of hair on it and stains. The floors in the bathroom were not clean and the toilet was not flushed. We were moved rooms and it was mostly better but still not great. There was minimal seating for breakfast and the food was not great. We waited around 35-40 minutes for our food and had to split our party of 3 up to find enough seats. I will find another hotel next time."

"I recently stayed here to celebrate my wedding. The hotel itself is nice. I enjoyed the valet service, but unfortunately, Maintenance broke some of our personalized celebratory items and discarded them without a word. The hotel staff was kind of dismissive of this. I did enjoy the chocolate covered strawberries as a gift from the hotel manager. The room is cozy and the staff was friendly if nothing else"
