"We went midweek in july 2025. Plenty of on street parking, with a blue badge is free. Nice shopping street, a stones throw from the sea front and beach and the station. For steam trains. Hotel was lovely, renovated, very nicely done. We booked deluxe double, it was very big, really lovely, sea front , perfect. Minehead is close to the moor, short drive up to viewing points. "We stayed here the night before a wedding, tge location was great. The room was updated yet retained the character of the pub. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delightful good quality food with a good choice. Would definitely recommend staying here. "

"A great welcome, very friendly, lovely, comfy, spacious room. Mouth watering meals and great choice of drinks. Although we had a lovely Valentine meal, we were in the public bar, next to the bar which was a bit noisy, table in the restaurant would have been preferred for a bit more privacy. Still we had a wonderful stay."

"This was our first stay at the Northfield Hotel and likely won't be our last. The building is fantastic, beautiful, spacious and has lovely character. The parking was easy in the Hotels car park and the garden was incredible to walk around & so well looked after. The hotel also boasts a fantastic pool, jacuzzi and gym. We loved the jacuzzi. With Minehead beach literally a 2 minute walk as well as the main High Street just a stones throw away it was so convienent and nice not to have to drive...

"Lovely location, we were in room 6 with sea view, room was cosy tastefully decorated, clean and bed very comfortable, ideal fir our 1 night stay while hiking coastal path. Staff friendly and great quality tasty breakfast. Exceeded our expectations "

"Decent accommodation in a beautiful village on Exmoor. The bed was comfortable and the full English breakfast very good as well. I had no problem parking just outside on the street. I liked the feeling of staying in a family-run hotel and they were all friendly and helpful. Would return!"
