"Staff was very friendly. The hotel is gated and always had someone available to open/close it. Check in and check out was a breeze. The hotel is within walking distance of a coffee shop, some local restaurants, the Savannah, gardens, zoo. There was no continental breakfast, no bar even though one was there. We didn't use the pool. Property could use some upgrades and renovation."

"In terms of pricing sure book it since it is so cheap. However keep in mind that you pay for what you get. Most staff was very in welcoming. When arrived they gave no information about the property at all. Keep in mind that the property is very far from the main road so you can walk but it is very time consuming and tiring. The shuttle is a great perk for this but it is unreliable"

"Wonderful! We couldn’t have wished for such a warm and restful stay! A beautiful house, managed by an amazing family! The views of the hills in the distance and the staghorn plants that surround as you take a dip in the pool are incredibly peaceful. The breakfast was amazing, the neighbors and the shop up the road were so kind. We walked to grocrey stores and restaurants every evening! We will be back every time we visit Trinidad. "

"The location is amazing for enjoying nature and the unspoilt environment, with great views if hummingbirds in the garden. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were kind and attentive, with knowledgable guides always on hand. A lovely exprience."

"The space is great it needs updating though. I saw from last year other guests suggested a few things that would make a guest’s stay much more enjoyable but those things one year later has not been done. We stayed for carnival and the distance to events held in the Savannah was amazing. Message to the owner(s) toilet paper holder, towel rack, shower door or curtain, spray for ants, fix bathroom door so it can close properly, a/c in living room, new pots, paper plates, plastic forks, kettle...

"I was referred to this location and I was very happy with my stay. This location has a restaurant/bar and very intimate so you will hear music, at night, but there is a cut off time. The staff were very pleasant and were very willing to answer any questions I had. The atmosphere, staff, and cleanliness is why I will book again."

"Maude was extremely helpful and kind. Our room was perfect for the late night layover we had at Piarco airport. I’d highly recommend this place if you have a very early morning flight or a long layover. It was clean, quiet and very comfortable."

The neighborhood did not seem safe, and there were no restaurants in close proximity, so a car is needed. Recommend for those not wanting to stay in Port of Spain. Host and staff were gracious and helpful. "

"The sheets were dirty. When I opened the faucet in the shower, brown dirty water came out. The room smelled liked it just got sorayed with a generous amount of Baygon. Although the location is good it is definitely not worth it."
