Good stay, great price

The apartment was great, and overall the stay was good, but when I arrived, there was still menstruation trash in my bathroom from the prior guest which made me question the overall cleanliness and attention to detail.

The beds were comfortable and toilets were clean. The staff was also very attentive. The place has been well designed but isn't maintained well. The walls were very dirty and we had a problem with a bad smell coming out of one of the toilets. They tried to fix it and had to give us another room, which didn't have that problem. Other than this issue, it was a decenr place to stay. An overall clean would do wonders for this property.

Property was clean in general, but needs to be maintained. Cupboard was broken, furniture was stained, pool area needs some love too, not inviting at all. Breakfast was generally ok when it arrived on time. Communication online was good but face to face was difficult and we speak the language. Would I stay in this apartment again the answer would be no.

Pricey, but worth every Rupee

We stayed here for two days after having travelled Sri Lanka for 3 weeks. Rococo Residence seemed a bit expensive to us but it turned out to be worth every Rupee. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Our apartment was flawless. This is just a place where everything works! And Oh, that smile of the receptionist!

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Arranged a driver to take us to Galle for the day, also taxi to airport. Hailed metered tuk tuks whenever we needed them and advised on the purchase of train tickets to Kandy. Rooftop pool was larger than expected and such a bonus. 2 bed apartment was perfect and much larger than it looked in the photos. Central location was very convenient with supermarket round the corner. Didn’t have a chance to sample their restaurant. Free bottled water each day was very useful.

Couldn’t fault the Rococo Residence - clean, friendly, good location. It worked really well having the space of an apartment for the 4 of us and the rooftop pool was an added bonus. This is an excellent place to base yourself to do Colombo and trips further afield. We hired a driver for the day and visited Galle stopping off on the way to visit the Tsunami museum at Telewatte.

Well done Rococo..

Absolutely brilliant apartment. Stayed there with family for two days to finish off touring Sri Lanka but should have booked longer. Staff were very polite and helpful especially reception manager who went above and beyond. Will definitely stay here again as it has a great location.

Fantastic hotel convenient location

Fantastic stay! We stayed in a huge 2 bedroom apartment- beautifully clean and well equipped. The roof top pool was amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great.

An Oasis of Calm in Colombo City

We’d booked into a nearby hotel and found it tiny and noisy. We decided to book somewhere nice for our last two nights in Colombo. We picked a winner. Our apartment was fantastic - spacious, clean and quiet. Colombo is a noisy, chaotic city and Rococo Residence was an oasis, ensuring we had a great time with great memories. The staff were warm and friendly and catered to our requests without hesitation. Rococo is only a few months old so everything is in great shape. It’s in a great location with the CBD close by as well as other attractions. We also stumbled across an old war memorial to Commonwealth soldiers which made us feel more connected to the area. We would have no hesitation in recommending Rococo Residence as a fabulous place to stay.
