This was the coziest hotel I've been to, the price was great and the staff was amazing definitely recommend this hotel!

I didn't like any thing about my stay i needed a handicap room and because I reserved it on line thy clerk was extremely rude and cust at me and put me on the second floor I had to pay in cash to get my discount and did not want to give me my change back at the end of my stay and cust me out will not use Expedia again that was the worst experience I have never had in a hotel the bed spead was dirty

The desk clerk had not received notification of our booking. He was hard to hear, due to the Covid-era glass between us, his gravelly voice, and the fact that the TV volume was too loud in the lobby. The deadbolt on our room door had not been retracted, so the door wasn't really closed when we got there. The room itself was just passable. Breakfast was virtually non-existent: a pot of coffee and a few packets of instant oatmeal. Would not recommend.

Disappointed

First of all when we got there, we only wanted to stay for two nights, but you guys charge me for three and my daughter wanted to go swimming and the pool was not up and running so we had no pool and that’s one of the reason we stayed there because they had a pool They had no phones in the room so you couldn’t call the desk.

Nicest motel I've ever stayed at. Very reasonable rates. They offer breakfast. If you miss the times for the breakfast, they still have coffee, tea, juices, and cereals available. They are very clean. People who work there are very polite and accommodating. Right next to a super cheap gas station. Was 1.87/gallon while i was there. Showers super nice and clean. Bed sheets had no stains, very fresh.

The man managing the property was rude and unwelcoming and also was obviously on some kind of substance as his behavior was odd and unsettling. He was acting awkward towards my 12 year old autistic son and staring at him in a way that made me and my son very uncomfortable

Overall it's what you would expect from a cheap motel, except if not in the lobby or your room the hallways were extremely stuffy no moving air at all. Also the refrigerator wasn't plugged it nor did the cord reach the outlet.

The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. It seems like the property is treated more like a home storage than a hotel. I really think the cost vs the condition is not comparable - where we could have paid a similar price for a fancier place to stay. We were greeted by an older gentleman (gruff personality and that’s never a problem) but scolded for booking our room online. The reason was they had full rooms the night before and didn’t have time or staff to clean them all. Also when booked on line the room is automatically assigned to the second floor(not sure of the problem with that). I informed him that we get money back from using our app and we use it a lot so it benefits us in the long run. We were then instructed to use the far entrance so as to not make the bell go off. Mind you our room was directly above the office at the top of the stairs - we had to go to the clear end of the parking lot, enter a broken and free to open to the public door, carry our bags the length of the hotel to the room we were assigned. They are older - we did as we were asked. Absolutely no complaints about the room. Breakfast was a box of donuts from Walmart with only two left and coffee - in what appeared to be more like a conference room than an eating area. As far as the parking lot goes - the pool was empty (expected) there is a fenced in area connected to the pool full of chickens - I’ll bet the smell is bad in the heated months. Some rooms appear to be live in residents.

We drove 20 miles out of our way because they accepted pets and didn't have a dog size limit. Their pet charge was $15 which was more reasonable than most. When we arrived they said that it was $20 and that Expedia had not kept up with the change, but their registration form still said $15. The employee marked through it and wrote in $20 as I watched. That was pretty annoying since the pet policy was the only reason that we chose the place. The walls transmitted noise from other rooms which made sleep difficult but they did include breakfast and their price was very reasonable so overall rating is OK.

The staff treated you as if you had never stayed in a hotel before. Had to show you how to use the key… It’s an electronic key yes scan it over the electronic lock.🙄 I reserved a king bed non-smoking, the entire non-smoking floor smelled like cigarette smoke! My room was not a king bed!! It felt more like a double sized bed. My boyfriend is 6 foot six. That is why we needed a king bed. We were practically sleeping on top of each other and his feet nearlyhanging off the end of the bed! The TV was messed up. Had to call the front desk using our cell phone. The room phone would not dial down to the front desk?! The refrigerator was not plugged in, so it was not cold! We brought food in and just hoped that it would cool down quickly. Also, the hallway that smelled like cigarette smoke was also hot in temperature. I definitely overpaid for what we got especially since we didn’t get a king bed! We will not stay there again!

By FAR the worst hotel and hotel experience. I have a service animal because I have services that require an animal. The host threw papers in my face, told me to get the f*** out of there hotel and that they have nothing for me. Then told me that we have to accept their new hotel room that was double the price and charged me for my service animal which is illegal. I was shaking because I was scared of this man. He was screaming he was violent and I did not know where he was going to escalate. I paid for the hotel and paid for my service animal because of this. And then when I got the hotel room it smelled so bad I had to go to Walmart to get something to get rid of the smell. They're betting is horrible, I don't think they wash it. It was itchy and it smelled. I went and got new linen to lay in. I will be reaching out to Expedia, better Business bureau, and leaving reports on every review option I can. Not only is this not a good hotel it's a dangerous one. I was coming here to check out Missouri and see if I wanted to move here and he was the first person I experienced when I got here. If you feel like you need to stay here cuz there's no other options reach out to me and I will find you a different place. No one should have to stay here.

When I got checked into my room, I found out the air conditioner fan wasn't working. I went back down to the front desk. They immediately found me a new room (upgraded at no extra cost). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is not an elevator so that's a negative but I made it. Some great antique shops that are right there.

This is no longer the OYO. It’s American Inn as of August 1st. So I had to pay AGAIN for my stay because I booked in July. I’m waiting for OYO to refund me my payment but as of right now I’m out almost $600 on a 4 night stay. This should have been communicated to me so I could have had the time to cancel my booking and find somewhere else to stay. Obviously they haven’t told Hotels.com that this change has been made.
