"I loved our stay, the room was great and the view from the room was fantastic. Bathroom and shower was really small but the water pressure was excellent. Very nice helpful staff. Uphill walk to the train station was tough with luggage. Glad we stayed in Spiez. Very low key without the hustle and bustle of Interlaken. Would stay here again."

"Check in is at 3pm and no one was there. I waited until 3:40pm with two other couples
before the manager/owner/clerk arrive to check us in. No explanation or apology of any kind was offered. The man spoke very little German or English which made it worse. He acted as though he was doing us a big favor just by being there. After we checked-in I went back to the office to ask for an extra set of towels.
