"At the price point we were surprised to find no bottles of water in the room - - - although there was a filtered water dispenser on the drinking fountain. As a Marriott Bonvoy member we weren’t offered any water at the front desk or any other upgrades. The rooms are excellent and appear to be recently remodeled. Staff all friendly and helpful. The food selection for breakfast is pretty sad - even by free Hotel breakfast standards. No hard boiled eggs at all - - - for example."

"I was not able to stay there. After I got there, exhausted from Jacksonville, FL driving, the front desk notified me that they do not accept pets which on the Expedia page it notes that it does allow dogs. I paid in advance, front desk told me they are not refunding my money because I made reservation through Expedia. Any help I can receive here I’ll appreciate it!"

"The only major complaints I had were the the lights were shut off for the whole property for most of a day. I believe it was outside of their control but I would have liked have received some sort of compensation for being without power during my stay. Its summer in Houston, not having air conditioning is miserable. Luckily I was able to make plans as to not have to be in my room while the power was out. "Overall, we had a great stay. The hotel was clean, the room was comfortable, and the bed made for a good night’s sleep. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job and kept everything spotless throughout our stay. The pool was definitely our favorite part of the hotel and was a highlight for our family. The only area that could use improvement is the breakfast. It was just okay. There was no waffle station, and having only one toaster for all the guests was inconvenient and led to unnecessary...
