"We always love staying at the Houstonian. It is full of history, wonderful amenities, and is exceptionally well maintained and clean. We loved using the Houstonian Fitness Center and three pools. Tennis and pickleball, too! Walking path around the property is one of our favs! The Spa is so beautiful and relaxing as well. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel and the wait staff was so attentive. This location in the heart of Houston amongst the shade of trees is a hidden treasure! We will be back!"

"At the price point we were surprised to find no bottles of water in the room - - - although there was a filtered water dispenser on the drinking fountain. As a Marriott Bonvoy member we weren’t offered any water at the front desk or any other upgrades. The rooms are excellent and appear to be recently remodeled. Staff all friendly and helpful. The food selection for breakfast is pretty sad - even by free Hotel breakfast standards. No hard boiled eggs at all - - - for example."

"What a treasure, next to the Menil Collection Museum! Hyatt runs a hotel but Tte museum actually purchased the land and built this hotel which looks more like an apartment complex. The Landscaping is absolutely beautiful. All the stuff are extremely helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful and spacious. I live in the Greater Houston area but we did decided to stay here for one night and I'm so glad we did. We will definitely be back."

"The property is well maintained and is a lovely place to stay at, however, when I booked it, I thought it was more like a a Bed and Breakfast, but it turned out more like an Airbnb because the day we checked in, there was no staff at the property and the second day as well, we did not see any staff. It is a quit and well situated property and the best part is that it has convenient parking on property."
