We stayed in the Grand Suite -2bd/2ba and it was ok. We actually loved Southold and look forward to returning to the area, but won’t be going back to this property-unless we’re visiting the food truck (which is only open limited days but is worth a stop). The listing mentions “view” and there is no view except of parking lot. The breakfast is fine-basically toast and yogurt. The worst part of stay was the noise. Our first night we didn’t have neighbors, but then a family of five moved in and I’ve never experienced so much noise in a hotel. We could hear talking, running, and everything. It was both sides, walls are cardboard thin. Our last night was over $900 with tax and resort fee, completely ruined by the children next door running from 2:30-3am. It sounded like knocking on our walls. Even my husband who can sleep through anything was up. It was so bad we emailed the hotel. The staff said they forwarded email to manager but did not hear back-instead paid our resort fee that could have been easily comped for the experience. They should absolutely be providing ear plugs (even that doesn’t help with the vibrations). Disappointed in what could be such a neat property - go visit the food truck and enjoy the seating (only view in hotel), but find a better accommodation elsewhere.
