We had an amazing stay, room was extremely clean and comfortable would highly recommend to anybody else they even had a tv and fan the room!

basic place to stay. nothing special. main issue with here was my push bike was stolen from the garden so garden not secure at all. bed was comfy, room was clean. hit and miss with hot water for showering.

The rooms were extremely small for the amount paid, the cabinet was to keep one’s belongings was good for nothing because of its size.

We were notified directly by Addenro that the accommodation we had booked had an issue with the plumbing (collapsed sewer) whilst we were enroute. Despite this, they sorted alternative accommodation in a different location, but because it was further away from where we were planning to visit, they personally arranged transport to take us there and back - they really could not have been MORE helpful - they were truly amazing. The accommodation we stayed in was excellent - clean, modern, spacious and everything we could need. Cannot fault them Thank you

Misleading accommodations
This is listed as a hotel, but it’s really more like a halfway house. Upon entering was greeted with someone wearing an ankle monitor.
The stairs are shallow so going up isn’t a problem, coming down is a bit if you’re older than 30.
The hot water from the tap is so hot you can make coffee with it without having to warm the water.

Non existent hotel.
I have been trying to contact you, but you seem quite elusive. The hotel was under new management, and had changed its name. There was no booking for me. It's ok for a night but not having hot water for a shower, or anyone available for questions once you've checked in is not practical when you haven't been told in advance and therefore are not prepared. Luggage is heavy and taking them up and down the stairs is a nightmare. Where things are or when they're available is not obvious. I could go on but I'm moving on.

This property is not suitable for senior. There is no elevator in the building. How can you expect a senior to carry a big suitcase with 50 lbs up to second floor. It is very dark in the vicinity at night time and it means it may not be safe to go out at night for dinner nearby

I arrived at the property, rang on the bell. No reply. Somebody turned up and opened the front door for me. The place stank of sweat and dirty laundry. I tried phoning the number I had been given, but no reply. I went round the back and there were some very devious looking characters there. I gave up with the place. I did not stay there. I value my life too much.

I woke up in the midle of the night because of the noise from the leakage in the ceiling, the footsteps and squeaking noise of the door. The Kettle is so dirty, I wasn’t even able to make my coffee. Had no choice to stay 2 nights at that time because our home was under repair and had to stay nearby. Never again I’m going to stay in this lodging. Not worth your money. I found a 1 bedroom apartment in city centre with the same price as the Addenro and it’s way way better than this lodging house. The manager was not responsive as well.

They didnt send codes for entry prior to arrival.
Didnt answer first call and took a while to return my 2nd call after leaving message. (Not helpful when long travelling and in need of toilet).
Front door entry code worked, keypad to bedroom didnt engage after having to look at another room to see how it worked.
After phoning 2nd time, was allocated a second room and key pad worked.
Room had no running water that evening or in morning and no milk for coffee and tea.
General condition of room was ok, but entrance ways, halls and stairs were cluttered, dirty and fire extinguishers out of date and no emergency information visible.

There's no hotel there!!!
My wife and I arrived at the specified address by taxi with all our suitcases for our cruise the following day. The exterior looked much worse than the online photo. Inside it was looking very 'tired' (putting it politely), there was no reception just a tatty guest register. We felt abandoned in a dubious location at 8pm wondering what to do.
In desperation I rang the contact numbers provided and was told that the Addenro had advised to been taken off your website some time previously as they were no longer accepting bookings via your company.
The guy felt so bad that he offered to find us another hotel and to take us there. We ended up at The Leonardo and was forced to fork out another £174 for the privilege!!! See itemised billings attached.
We were fuming and would have given no stars at all if that was possible.
As I am a loyal and long-standing client of Hotels.com who has had no cause to complain previously, Itrust that, given the foregoing, you will see your way clear to adequately compensating me in order to restore our faith in utilising your services in future.

Check in was difficult because it involved having to make a call from outside the property in order to clarify how the key pads worked..I was given codes for the key pads ahead of time but with no instruction to place the palm of my hand over the key pad first, this is why I had to make the call. I had to call more than once before I got an answer.
The corridors of the property are piled up with a variety of old equipment, laundry bags and rubbish. The corridors are dirty.
In my room, there was tea, coffee and cups provided, but no kettle. I sent a text to the contact who had helped me with the door, asking for a kettle, and I never got a reply.
The door to the room isn’t fitted correctly and so needed a good shove to get it to close. There was a desk and chair in the room, the chair was covered in dusty dirt. The tv remote was sticky, like it’s never been cleaned. The shower plug hole was blocked up, so I could only take a very quick shower in order to stop the water from getting so high that it would spill over the shower tray.
On the positive side, the bed sheets and towels were clean.
Overall I’d say this is a property to be avoided until the owners spend some time and money on fixing the problems.

Excellent service
Last minute booking due to train strikes. Hotel was under renovation however we were met by the most helpful person who arranged alternative accommodation and a taxi to get us there. He checked to make sure we arrived, gave us brilliant information about where to eat and when a fellow guest had locked the main door he sorted it out promptly

Memorable for the wrong reasons.
Booked a 5-berth room. Was not told the booking had been split over 2 rooms on separate floors, so had to contact the manager to get beds moved, cery much delaying our evening.
There was wall outlet for the microwave. The kettle was able to be put in front of the tv to use the outlet there, but doubt we could have safely done that with a microwave!
Every single one of the milk packs were rancid.
On the plus side, the beds were comfy and the water, though low pressure, was hot.
The manager came relatively quickly when the fire alarm was set off by other guests at night.
