"Great value as price included bedroom, comfy bed. Rooms are a bit worn but for work, decent, Wi-Fi is good as well. Bottom of the road leads to the beach which is stunning. Parking can be a nightmare but I fell lucky. "

"Beautiful room, interaction with owners was polite and minimal and we felt comfortable during our stay, met the owner in person when leaving and she was very lovely. Information of the surrounding area was available in the room which we found really useful. Lovely location and really central. Great choice for food and drink"

"There were so many plus points about this stay . 1 the accommodation is gorgeous masses of space and beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches . 2 the staff are wonderful there super friendly and helpful . 3 The food we had lunch and breakfast was really tasty . There were a few issues which stopped us marking it perfect . 1 it was a warm day so we didn’t try the hot tub till the evening . There was no temp on it but it wasn’t very hot. "We enjoyed meeting all Staff and found everyone really helpful and friendly. Lovely room, very comfortable. Nice lounge areas too and no dogs. The only thing we found challenging was that the menu for the evening meals didn't change. After two nights, we were lucky that a BBQ had been organised so we could order that for a change. Unfortunately, the BBQ finished at 5pm which was rather early for an evening meal. "

"A beautiful setting with everything you could possibly need. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, clean room with good amenities. I also had a stunning beach view. Nothing was too much trouble. They even catered for my Gluten sensitivity. The food at Breakfast and dinner was absolutely delicious. My massage was heavenly also. The only think I didn’t like was the fact I had to leave such a wonderful place! "

"Right in the center of town and an easy walk from the train station in Barnstaple. Everything is right there in walking distance and it's all just as funky and charming and welcoming as can be! The hotel's foundation has sunken a bit (or more in some places) which is charming but a little disconcerting if you're thinking you might fall out of bed!"
