"Was in Torquay for a week at a Christian conference in the riviera centre. The guest house was 5 minutes walk away so really convenient. Breakfast was excellent with lots of cooked choices. There was also cereals which I never managed as the cooked was large enough to see me till dinner time. Jonathan was a good host. The guest house was very clean and well kept, a sign that the owners took pride in the service they gave. Would definitely recommend. "

"When we arrived, it was getting cold. The room was present but cold. There was no attempt to put the heating on untill a complaint was made. And there was no heat in the bathroom the next morning. I was charged an extra £20 for the room. Breakfast was average of poor quality."

"When i checked in the people were so welcoming and friendly, close to the city centre of so easy walkable to the pubs and shops. My room was a decent size for 1 person, nice and comfortable, the only issue i can think of is the bathroom was a little small and hot water took quite a while to come through, Breakfast in the morning was also very nice, i will definitely stay again if I come back to Torquay."

"I was very disappointed with the overall cleanliness and condition of this hotel. The front of the property was extremely dirty, with rubbish scattered around, giving a very poor first impression upon arrival. The outdoor swimming pool was out of service and filled with green, dirty water, which was both unappealing and concerning.
