"Used to be a Holiday Inn, now owned by independent for Wyndham. Restaurant, Bar, Tiki bar are owned by a local on the island and they are great, happy staff. Yet, Staff behind deck (which looks like a gym ) for check in, no so, rude, couldn’t care less you’re there. Will say, day I checked out, desk staff much nicer and SMILED! You have to pay for parking which is not right. Paid $11.73 a day. A much older sr woman asked where she could park for free, staff told her, “On the Street.” Which is a back-in at a right angle. The beds were good. Lots of broken items in my room, yet, still doable. Remote to TV repaired by huge amount of tape. Sink stopper off. Toilet paper holder, broken…etc. Hotels on the beach are very limited. Was there for 4 nights, $782.00. Hope, Wyndham will reconsider this independent service for their hotel on N.Padre Island. It’s being run just like before when Holiday Inn. Those who remember being a guest with a major hotel chain feel welcomed and treated well. Hope Wyndham will demand this with staff. Travel days are long and tiresome. Paying for parking is not right, maybe if was covered."

"BEWARE!! The property is probably the best in Corpus Christi and Shoreline Dr. is a jewel for the city. Unfortunately, street racing has taken over Shoreline Dr. which fronts the Omni. Drag racing begins at approx. 6:00 p.m. and continued until 5-6 am. There is no possibility of sleeping. I was booked for a two night stay and after the first night I requested a move. They had no rooms available. I requested an early checkout and was granted the checkout, BUT I am still attempting to get a refund for the 2nd night. The staff was nice and very aware of the problem with the noise, but at this time I have not received a call back from the property after 3 attempts to contact them."

"Clean, nice room. Good breakfast. Nice location and facilities. Nice staff."

"We were greeted by trash thrown all over the stairs that we had to walk around to get to our 2nd floor room. It was mostly empty which was comfortable. Ice machines were all broken so if you stay here, spring for the room with he fridge & microwave. Toilet was crooked & at a weird angle so you couldn’t sit comfortably. I only booked here bec breakfast is listed as an amenity but it was abysmal. There was only bagels & toast for food. The coffee maker had fruit flies all over the drip catcher. The pool was green so don’t expect to swim at all. The room smelled extremely musty like it had a leak. The ac was very cold tho so that was appreciated. There was a $50 deposit to stay there. This hotel is only fit for homeless people or street activities."
