"The location of the Sand Rose is wonderful! I liked being away from the bigger crowds! The staff was wonderful. The breakfast could use a little help with some fresh, more nutritious offerings, but the omelet choice was nice! The coffee was pretty bad...weak and no flavor. We had a consistent issue with the room keys not working. Hopefully, that will be rectified. The "partial ocean view" is very partial, but it wasn't awful. We enjoyed meeting a lot of "winter Texans" and plan to return!"

"No view of beach, walk to beach too far, rooms have been repaired/patched alot, they barely give you any towels/wash clothes. If you have visitors they can't use the pool. Service was terrible at the office, employees act like you're bothering them with any questions "

"We booked since time ahead but when we got there they changed the price to double the amount then told us no rooms were available. We drove 5 almost 6 hrs to be told there no but thanks to god we got a room at the sand rose resort for waayyy less.. "

"The room was clean but very tired. The patio furniture wasn't in useable condition because of paint chips sticking to my skin. Also electrical wall outlet unuseable because entire casing protruded from wall. Patio use was a wash out. Overall the facility is quaint. Small. Grounds well maintained, clean and secure. Very good location. Be aware there is no elevator in any of the 3 story buildings. Adequate parking. Good pools. Staff is wonderful. I would recommend. "

"The beach view is ok however the unit was dated and the refrigerator leaked water in the ice make which resulted in no ice the dishwasher leaked the water filter needed changed marginal furniture very uncomfortable sofa and chairs the beds were good overall very average and dated "
