Great stay and food

Absolutely brilliant. Delighted with pod's cleaniness and style, great night sleep, amazing views. Food was excellent with great choice and extremely good value.

Have a great stay ,property location is stunning and property is very clean and comfy ,some issues around parking as it’s only really street parking although the listing says otherwise. They also allow pets even though it says no pets which is a bonus

The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely. The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here. We happily stay here again.

Lovely location

Great value in a beautiful rural location. Clean unit with fabulous ensuite. The pub restaurant has extensive menu options and breakfast service was comprehensive.

Had very pleasant stay ,quiet relaxing location . Accommodation clean and modern good value for money . Surrounding gardens to relax in . Great breakfast and good choice of food in restaurant in evening , pleasant helpful staff . Village very quite no other facilities but good central point to explore north Devon . Totally amazing place

What an absolutely amazing place stayed 6 nights with my wife that needed a nice break to take her mind off chemo treatment . From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. The pub part is amazing friendly staff great beer and food the locals are so friendly to just loved this place . The pods are amazing with lovely views of Exmoor clean warm and just lovely. I will be back soon thats for sure also breakfast is included 😋

Another great stay - recommended

Lovely spot to stay in within easy striking distance of Barnstaple and North Devon and the coast. Beautiful part of the country with plenty to discover The pods are well maintained and very comfy. Fabulous large bed. Our dog loves lying out on the little balcony overlooking the balcony Staff were all friendly & helpful. Cooked breakfast was very good with locally soiurced produce. Nice strong coffee in tap with other buffet options. Good menu available for evening meals at reasonable rates and good selection of drinks at the bar

Biker friendly site

Friendly check in and we were allowed to take our motorcycles down to the pods so that they were secure. Good food and spotlessly clean accommodation. Biker friendly site.

all was good, some of the pods have french doors that open onto a very small patio and have good view across farm land. Ask for one of those.

The pods are wonderful and clean, set in lovely countryside! Service and food etc was lovely. Main issue was the bed. Did not sleep well due to the matress being so hard!

The most comfortable bed ever! It felt very hard but gave both of us the best night's sleep for a long time as it was easy to roll and move on. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Only snag was that the pods were at the bottom of a very steep slope which was a challenging walk for someone with restricted mobility, but we managed. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it heartily. Good value.
