"Traditional pub building in the middle of a village. The bar was full of local people having a good time but no noise made it through to the bedroom due to very thick walls. Nice room, clean, huge bed plenty of indirect lighting and enough power points. New en suite bathroom. Very friendly but unobtrusive staff. Excellent full English breakfast."

The room was lovely, a nice comfortable bed, lovely pillows and lovely and clean. The lady who was cleaning the rooms was on her own that day and we asked if we could check in early the day before. "This was my second stay here whilst visiting my son at Exeter University. Moto Velo is <20 mins from the Uni Campus, This place caught my eye as it allows dogs to stay at a reasonable price, much better than the ridiculous amount some of the hotels in Exeter were charging. Plus it comes with free convenient parking. Check-in is faceless with easy to follow instructions. "We have stayed here a couple of times and been made to feel very welcome. Aaron was a great host and the customer service from everyone working there that we had contact with was excellent. The breakfast and evening meals were delicious, generous portions and represented good value. Overall, highly recommended."

"The requested room was an ensuite, it had a toilet and bath , no shower which might be problematic for some. The room didn't have a fan which meant I had to have the windows open all night which was noisy. I paid for a basic room and that's what I got."
