"We stayed at DarZahia for 3 nights in November. Zahia (the owner) was not there but sent us a number of emails in advance with things to do in Taroudant and the vicinity, which was really helpful. The staff working there Belaïd and Fatima were excellent, really friendly and made us feel at home- Belaïd was really helpful showing us around town and Fatima's food was superb. "I was a bit disappointed with my stay here as it looked a lot better in the photos and description than the reality. It felt quite run down and I experienced power cuts and a leaky ceiling onto my bed during the rain that evening. I also think it has just been taken over by a new owner who said the property wasn't on Expedia despite me booking and paying using it.
