"Beautiful hotel in a perfect location in the walled city. The hotel is in an amazing 1920’s design, very stylish and elegant. Saying that the bathrooms could be overhauled, fresh paint and plumbing. The staff on the whole were very professional and helpful, especially the reception staff. The garden bar staff could have been more attentive. Good choice of food for breakfast in a wonderful setting, overlooking the ramparts. The outside pool area was a welcome addition, especially in the soaring heat. Overall a wonderful break in a lovely setting."

"Very good hotel. Room overlooked the interior and was therefore a little dark, with limited lighting, but otherwise very good facilities. Simple things right - like a room safe at eye level, nespresso coffee machine, good shower over a good sized bath, comfortable bed. Very happy with our 4 nights here. Great location."

"Wonderful staff on reception. Rooms are a great size and well equipped with oven, microwave, kettle, fridge and toaster. There is no AC though and only one door opening onto the balcony so airflow is an issue. The location is decent, next to the river and 15 minutes walk to the centre. Breakfast was lovely, a nice selection of cold options."
