"Check-in staff was unfriendly. He opened a crack just barely enough for me to stick my credit card and license in at the check in window and barely said 2 words during the check-in process. There was almost no parking and breakfast was terrible. The group staying in the room above us were talking and smoking outside until 2am. One of the worst stays ever."

"Because it is an older place the wear is visible. It is very clean and check in was quick and easy. Surprisingly it is more quiet than I expected. I would definitely stay again ."

"Everything was virtual assistant. It was very annoying because when we had problem no one was able to fix because no one was available. Probably won’t stay again"

"Although the room was fairly clean the property showed a lot of signs of lack of upkeep. Just traversing the walkway on the second floor you can the lack of maintenance on the property. You had to go to an adjacent building to get ice. No elevators were available for upstairs rooms. I come to town at least twice a year but I won’t stay there again."

"The Curly Redwood is a wonderful historic motel and a great value for the area. It’s close to the Redwoods and the ocean. We enjoyed our stay there."
