when we first arrived there was a homeless man at the check in window so me and my friend had to stay in our car until he left (we are both young women and didn’t want to leave our stuff unattended in my car) once we checked in and got into the room it took merely seconds to notice the uncleanliness even though we were both ready to crash immediately.
there was some black powdery looking substance that filled the toilet with every flush, there were clumpy black makeup stains all over my pillow and when we grabbed something to scrape at it , it flaked right off, our bedding had white stains all over it and again, when we took a wet cloth to it… it came right off. thus showing the bedding had not been washed.
we walked down to the check in window outside again with all of our stuff and had to get a new room arranged, the guy at the desk was quick with getting us a new, clean room but it was not ideal for two 20 year olds to be standing outside in a seemingly sketchy area and 2am.
i wouldn’t recommend this stay unless they flip their stuff around. we felt unsafe and icky.
