"Property was very nice. Everything was well kept, but there was no like paper towel or napkins in the room little stuff like that. For some reason, my key card got reset. I had to go down and get it reset. The restaurant food was just OK. I kinda expected better. The people work in the bar lounge were really nice. The outdoor Boardwalk area was gorgeous. The TV in the hotel room was garbage. 45 news channels, and not one of them was a weather channel. Lol"
"Fantastic hotel. Great location, close to transportation and supermarkets. Spacious room with everything you need for a long or short stay and the rooftop terrace is amazing. Can't wait to stay again."
Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam - Sloterdijk Station by IHG
8/10 Good
"Excellent location, near every thing you need like restaurants, supermarkets and the train station
But there is no iron and the table in the room, so I asked them to provide one and they ask me to come to take it from the reception"
"Overall I enjoyed my stay at Mercure Hotel Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station. The hotel was close to the train station which meant it was easy to get out and about. The room I stayed in was very spacious with ample room to move about. The bathroom was also larger than expected. The only minor dissatisfaction with the room was I could see the Girl with the Pearl Earring painting in the room had what looked like some liquid streak on it which you could see at an angle, as well as some liquid streaks on the door that opened up the area for where the kettle is. One thing of note to anyone looking to stay at this particular hotel. There are major roadworks going on in front of the hotel which means the access to the train station is to go around the roadworks which isn't a lot more walking but still a detour to direct access. Whilst we were there which was over the weekend and a couple of days into the week there wasn't any actual work so there was not any noise disturbance. However, I can imagine that being an issue for hotel guests when work is going on outside the hotel."
"Omar at the front desk was so helpful. He made the start of our trip so great! He gave us a map and told us how to get every where we wanted to go. The hotel is very close to the train station which is a plus. It was the perfect place if you want to have some fun in Amsterdam:)"
