Great place to stay

Wonderful quiet location with views of the mountains! Owner and staff were gracious and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of food. Good place to base yourself out of to explore the area, including the ruins at Paestum.

This is a very tranquil place to stay, nestled in beautiful hills with some very pleasant nearby towns--in particular, Sicignano degli Alburi. We attended a large family reunion in Sicignano, and Mariangela, our hostess at La Tavernola, was very accommodating, allowing a small family photo exhibit on the premises, while also catering a delicious snack ("an evening under the stars") to finish up the weekend. Our room was charming and airy, with a pleasing view of the countryside. The breakfasts (and other meals that we ordered) were fresh and very tasty. Some ingredients were harvested at La Tavernola, such as olive oil and beans. Her staff was also friendly and gracious. The town of Sicignano has a historic castle and some excellent restaurants, including a pizza cafe on the town's main piazza. We also visited a nearby cave (~25-40 minute drive), Le Grotte di Pertosa-Auletta, which had an underground boat ride for part of its tour.

La tenuta Mandia è uno spettacolo per gli occhi e per la mente. Abbiamo passato lì solo una notte, ma se avessimo potuto avremmo passato lì tutta la settimana per partecipare a tutte le attività che offrono. Il posto è meraviglioso, ci si trova persi nel verde e non c'è nulla di piu rilassante, Mariangela poi è una dolcezza di persona e sarà ben felice di spiegare tutte le attività e la storia dela struttura. Posto perfettonper tutti gli amanti della natura. Super consigliato

Partendo dal presupposto che forse oggi è difficile trovare un posto che oltre ad essere bello ti rigenera anche la mente, a Tenuta la Tavernola l'ho trovato. Location immersa nel verde che ti permette di scappare dal caos della città e assaporare le meraviglie della natura, gestione impeccabile grazie a Mariangela❤ (la proprietaria) premurosa e attenta... il tutto deliziato da una colazione meravigliosa... Grazie
