"Our son lives in the area, but only has a 1 bedroom apt. We have tried many different hotel in DC and the area. This one just fits us. The surrounding area is filled with a nice variety of restaurants, bars, etc…even a movie theater, all in walking distance. This was our 4th stay and the staff is always so helpful."

"My daughter developed a significant rash during her stay, and the sheets felt rough and sandy. When she reported it, she was told the hotel would comp one night. When I later called to follow up, I was transferred between multiple departments, forced to repeat the story several times, and ultimately told by a supervisor that no refund had ever been offered. "Went to DC with our family and stayed at the Arlo (kids excited to swim in the rooftop pool). While very stylish and great location, there were some things worth pointing out: 1) the beds are very firm. My husband and I travel frequently for work, and these beds became uncomfortable by the 2nd night, 2) although the AC worked great and was quiet, the bathroom had no vent and room started to feel like air was not circulating. So, it started to smell musty and stale, and 3) sadly, the cool rooftop...
