Nice, spacious rooms with nice view of the mountains. Variety of breakfast spread although some didn’t taste as good. 10/10 for selection. Helpful and friendly staffs. A distance away from the hustle and bustle of the busy areas but there are restaurants nearby and taxi services are pretty convenient.

Arsma was one of 6 hotels we booked for this trip, and so far everyone loved Arsma the most, wondering why didn't we stay with them for longer.
Check in was swift, and the team was very hospitable
The rooms were large and comfortable with all necessary amendments, water pressure to the shower was amazing (perfect for after a long day walking in Tarokko).
Breakfast was wonderful as well with lots of local food to try, for coffee drinkers, they provide 2 kinds of coffee - brewed coffee and a ...

Great location and there are also bikes available for hotel guests. We used a couple, had a flat tyre and the hotel was kind enough to send a new one to our location so that we could continue our exploration of Hualien at no additional charges. Truly thankful for the hotel to so that for us.
Breakfast was also surprisingly good. And if you're up for something less Taiwanese, McDonald's is just right opposite the hotel.
